Intensive Care Unit
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Stoughton Health is a state-of-the-art unit providing trusted medical care for critically ill or injured patients.
For your comfort, all rooms are private. The ICU medical and nursing staff provide the skilled services, personal attention and advanced life-saving technology needed when you are in critical condition. Nurses are trained in critical care and understand the trauma and concern you and your family may experience when you or a loved one is an ICU patient.
The specially trained department staff works as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient focused care. The service provided includes specialized care for critically ill patients by Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) trained nurses, cardiac monitoring, ventilator care and continuous BiPAP support.
