Pre-Employment Physicals
The physical determines an individual’s ability to perform essential job functions.
DOT Physicals
Stoughton Health can meet all DOT state required standards.
Injury Management
Our Emergency Department offers 24-hour injury management and drug screening. For urgent care needs, Stoughton Hospital Urgent Care services are available from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily. Stoughton Health also has Urgent Care Clinics in Cottage Grove, McFarland and Oregon.
Our team of emergency medicine/urgent care physicians and physician assistants understand the importance of an early return to work and exploring light-duty options.
DOT and Non-DOT Drug Screenings
Drug screenings are available 24/7. We offer blood and breath alcohol testing. We are also a collection site for urine drug testing. When possible, urine specimens will be sent to the analyzing lab of your choice.
Return to Work Exams
If an individual is injured at work, they may be seen in the clinic to be cleared to return to duty.
Tuberculosis Screening or Test
A tuberculin skin test or QuantiFERON Gold blood test is completed to determine if an individual has latent or active tuberculosis.
Respirator Medical Evaluations and Fit Testing
Evaluations and fit testing are offered using current American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards. It is a procedure that verifies that a respirator fits the individual’s face and provides the expected level of protection.
Preventative Vaccines
Vaccines available include:
• Influenza
• Hepatitis B (three-shot series)
• Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
• Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Tdap)
Audiograms
Baseline or annual audiograms are completed by a certified occupational hearing conservationist.
Spirometry
A procedure is a breathing test that measures how much air you can breathe in and out of your lungs as well as how fast you can blow the air out.
Silica Screening
A medical exam that assesses for exposure to silica and the risk of developing silica-related disease.
Labs
Urine drug screen, hepatitis B surface antibody, mumps immune status, measles immune status, rubella immune status, varicella immune status, DOT urine dip, QuantiFERON Gold, CMP, CBC, lipid panel, lead test, and blood alcohol.
Chest X-ray
For tuberculosis assessment and silica screening.
Sports Physical
The physical will include a review of health history, examine the heart and lungs, and assess that the child is able to compete in sports.
Quick Care Visits
Scheduled visit for urinary symptoms, respiratory symptoms, sore throat, eye issues, or ear pain.
Significant Exposure Care
After a bloodborne pathogen exposure at work an individual can be evaluated by our nurse practitioner.
Wellness Program Overview
Our Wellness Program includes a health risk assessment (HRA), screenings with instant
results, and coaching to provide the support your employees need to improve their well-being.
Health screenings are an important tool to assess the risk for chronic diseases such as
diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis, and more.
Employers with more than 10 employees will receive aggregate reports from the HRA
and health screenings.
