Here for You Today, Planning for Tomorrow Stoughton Health Medical Outpatient Building Campaign

Jun 30, 2023 | News & Notes

On Tuesday, June 27, Stoughton Hospital Foundation received a generous donation from Keith and Tammy Anderson toward the 56,000 square feet Medical Outpatient Building planned to begin fall of 2023 and completed spring of 2025.  The building will be adjacent to the SSM Medical Group Dean Clinic.

“I was born and raised in Stoughton and am excited to support the new Stoughton Health Medical Center. This will give people an opportunity to stay in town when they have medical needs and keep their care local,   I wanted to contribute to that,” said Keith Anderson.  The Andersons are no strangers to giving back. They recently contributed to the renovation project of Collins Field and the introduction of the new Anderson Complex at Stoughton High School.  “I believe so much in Stoughton that I’ve started a building company here in town, I think what Stoughton needed was a push in regards to new housing. Good schools, good health care and housing continue to be a major draw to the community.  This is our way of saying thank you Stoughton for all of your help and thank you Stoughton Health for all you do in the community,” he added.

Both Keith and his wife Tammy were raised and have family here in Stoughton.  “The reason I support giving to Stoughton Hospital Foundation is because it goes back to our family. My sister is the ER Manager and has been there for 28 years, my brother in law had worked there for 15 years, my mom also worked there for 12 years and has volunteered for 20 years.  My sister and I candy striped there years ago too, it really has been and continues to be a family affair. Plus, I love what Stoughton Hospital has done for the community,” added Ms. Anderson.

“We would like to thank Keith and Tammy Anderson for making this very generous donation to support Stoughton Health. With this donation towards the new Medical Outpatient Building, we will be able to continue to grow to meet the changing needs of the communities we serve and keep quality care local,” said Jessica Pharo, Foundation Board President.

More About the Medical Outpatient Building Campaign: The project will consist of additional clinic space to accommodate general surgery, orthopedics, urology, cardiology and other specialty services.  Stoughton Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine and cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation will be re-located to the new building. The plan also includes 24,000 square feet of shell space and the capability to add an additional floor if needed.
