Stoughton Health is celebrating the one-year anniversary of its Urgent Care Clinic in Cottage Grove, and the community response has been overwhelmingly positive.
Since opening its doors last October, the clinic has quickly become a trusted resource for convenient, compassionate care. “Patients have been very glad we’re here and appreciate how close to home we are,” shared Kelly Harrington, Urgent Care Services Manager. “We’ve received wonderful feedback about our friendly staff and how quickly patients are seen.”
Located at 110 Limestone Pass, Suite 103, the Cottage Grove Urgent Care is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends, providing walk-in care for non-emergency needs.
In addition to the Cottage Grove clinic, Stoughton Health also offers urgent care locations in Oregon, McFarland, and Stoughton, all designed to make quality care easily accessible throughout the region.
Stoughton Health urgent care clinics can treat a variety of common illnesses and injuries, including:
- Minor coughs, colds, and respiratory symptoms
- Throat or ear pain
- Rashes
- Minor wounds or lacerations
- Sprains, strains, or minor injuries
- Urinary burning or discomfort
Each location also offers basic lab testing and X-rays to support quick diagnosis and treatment.
Harrington noted that urgent care is an excellent option for issues you’d typically see your doctor for, but can’t get an appointment right away. However, conditions like chest pain or severe injuries should still be treated at an emergency room.
To make access to care even easier, Stoughton Health accepts more than 160 insurance plans, including Dean Health Plan and Quartz. “We want care to be convenient and accessible for everyone in our community,” Harrington added.
As the Cottage Grove urgent care clinic marks its first year, Stoughton Health remains committed to expanding local access to high-quality, patient-centered care close to home.
