Becker’s Hospital Review compiled a list of U.S. hospitals with a CMS 5-star rating for cleanliness, which included Stoughton Hospital! There were 386 hospitals on this nationwide list. CMS’ patient survey hospital database listed hospital ratings based on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) surveys. HCAHPS is a national, standardized survey of hospital patients about their experience during a recent inpatient hospital stay.
The state with the most 5-star rated hospitals for cleanliness was Texas with 32 hospitals, followed by Wisconsin with 28 and Pennsylvania with 26.
