The American Heart Association, a global leader in promoting heart and brain health, acknowledges the vital contribution of rural hospitals in delivering timely, high-quality care to stroke patients. Hospitals participating in Get With The Guidelines® – Stroke are evaluated using performance measures specifically designed to assess early acute stroke care.
