LGBTQ+ Advisory Committee

The Stoughton Health LGBTQ+ Advisory Committee was formed in 2020 as a way to address the ongoing health disparities that LGBTQ+ communities face in healthcare. Stoughton Health partnered with Building A Safer Evansville to bring LGBTQ+ inclusive policy change, training and action to the hospital and health network with the focus on creating a more inclusive and safe environment for LGBTQ+ individuals. The Stoughton Health LGBTQ+ Advisory Committee is made up of hospital administrators, nursing staff, patient care representatives and LGBTQ+ community members. Stoughton Health is committed to providing safe and inclusive healthcare to everyone regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
