Heart Health: Common Heart Disease Medications

October 22 @ 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Virtual Event
Free

Medications help people with heart disease live longer and feel better by easing symptoms and slowing heart disease. But it’s not always clear why so many are needed or what side effects to expect.

Tina DeGroot, PhD, Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner, will discuss common medications for heart failure, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and atrial fibrillation. Learn how these drugs work to strengthen your heart and improve your quality of life.

If you have questions, please call Stoughton Health Community Education at (608) 877-3498.
