Stoughton Health has received the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines® – Stroke Rural Recognition Bronze Award for its efforts to improve stroke care and reduce health outcome disparities in rural populations.

The American Heart Association, the world’s leading nonprofit organization focused on heart and brain health for all, recognizes the essential role rural hospitals play in delivering timely, evidence-based care to stroke patients. Rural hospitals participating in Get With The Guidelines – Stroke are evaluated using a unique methodology focused on early acute stroke performance metrics.

“We’re honored to receive this recognition, which highlights the dedication of our clinical team and their commitment to ensuring patients receive high-quality stroke care when every second counts,” said Amy Hermes, Chief Nursing Officer at Stoughton Health. “This award reflects the expertise, coordination, and passion our staff bring to every patient encounter.”
