
Michelle Abey
Stoughton Health is pleased to announce that Michelle Abey, Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed by Governor Tony Evers to serve as a Public Member of the Wisconsin Health and Educational Facilities Authority (WHEFA). Her appointment took effect March 13, 2026, with a term ending July 1, 2027, pending Senate confirmation. WHEFA helps nonprofit healthcare, education, and community organizations across Wisconsin access affordable financing. In this role, Abey will bring her financial knowledge and healthcare experience to support the Authority’s work.

Abey serves as CFO at Stoughton Health, where she oversees financial operations, budgeting, and long‑term planning. She plays a key role in supporting the organization’s financial strength and future growth.
